The lake

Facing the Saint Jean de Chevelu village and the Monthoux vineyards , at the foot of the Dent du chat, you will be enjoying a nice swim in a naturally sun heated water !

There is also a sandy beach (ideal to build castles) surrounded by grass, a pontoon with a diving board, a children playground, a volley-ball net, some picnic tables, and some sanitarians ( wc and shower - in summer).

Swimming is supervised during the summer season: a rescue team is on site in july and august.
There are some informative signs at the rescue station.

The pets are not allowed.

As you enter the beach, you will find a little bar serving fresh drinks, ice creams and chips ( on site or to take away).

Access to the beach is not free during the summer season, but remains free for the Camping des Lacs guests.
